Thats what i did, when i realized that all the wires are there, in the same places, and its hard to pull it thru the space in front of the radiator. But alas, it still doesn't run. i don't know why, but i DO know that the motor connector on the drivers side has a break in the wiring, and i can't pull the pins from the connector, so i can't test to see which of my two modules are bad. Motors are good. So i just wind them up and down by hand.

Astronomy says we will find a coded signal from outer space. Then we'll KNOW that life exists there, for coded signals aren't by chance.

Biology says there are coded genetic signals in every cell, but we KNOW that no intelligence created life.

I'm the original owner of a white ' 84 2M4 purchased Dec 10, 1983 from Pontiac. Always garaged, no rust, 4-wheel drifts are fun!

I did the swap and the first module I tried did not run anything....Got a second module and it works great.

If you want to check wire connections but can't get at the end of the wire/connector, use a pin and slid it thru the wire. Also, for splicing wires they have "Environmental splices" which have a shrink tube that seals them....The ones you can buy at the auto-parts stores are ok, but the Aircraft ones I use have epoxy in the ends that melts and completely seals around the wires. Raychem makes them but they are expensive......
