Awesome 😎 thanx it's been a lot of help in a short time. Got the car towed to the shop today getting poised to open pandora's box on the weekend lmao. Have a new trans complete and ready to hang sitting on deck. What's in it for a clutch is the final burning question bahahaha.

I don't doubt it's a fast car, and there are 406's in the world that can do that... but I'm very skeptical of that number through 23 degree heads and the Super Ram (SuperRam? SupeRam?) intake pictured.

Be skeptical all you want. The dyno sheets didn't lie. Not sure what your point is other than to try and tell me you don't think it makes that power. You don't know what part number the Air Flow Research heads are that cost more than most 300hp complete running engines or any specs on the particular parts that are in it. It's a 10.5/1 $25,000 6.8L small block. It's like having a Duramax in a shopping cart, down right vicious tiring shredding handful!!!! Soooo much fun

600hp crate engine (carb'd) on eBay if anyone wants one and fairly cheap too.

Did you actually read the listing? What kind of meth-lab crap is that?

Like I said, there are plenty of 406's that make 600 HP...

Looks like the engine could have been helped along with a little NOS, but the location of that single nozzle isn't ideal (maybe there is another one we can't see).

Ya Troy put a little spray on everything. He was a nitrous addict. That's why I am just putting in a whole new trans if it's not broken it's tortured for sure. I took the spray out, it doesn't need any help. I couldn't careless what the actual hp is anymore. I just remember from when we tuned it way back when. It's crazy fun to drive white knuckle smiles no point in a stereo it plays its own music 😎😎😎

looking at the ad, it's unclear whether the advertised engine is a 383 or a 406, there's no information about the cylinder heads, which are insanely important on a 600 HP SBC.... And then there's this little laugh in the fine print...

some poor shmuck is gonna get robbed... Real talk, If that engine is even a 406 (I bet it's not even a 383) it probably makes less than 500 HP at the crank.

As far as the engine in the car, I've seen enough dynos in my days on TGO to know what a superram is capable of, I'll let you assume what the means for yourself.
