Steering wobble after brake lines and wheel bearings (Page 2/2) indyfiero2m4 JUL 04, 07:38 PM Well, thanks guys for all the help. I figured it out. Im forgetful. I was using a one man brake bleeder that had a 1/4" thick magnet to hold the bottle on something. Well i left the magnet on the hub face and forgot to remove before i reinstalled the wheels. Tonight when i went out to reinspect the wheel bearings, i found the magnet crushed onto the hub face. Have yet to test drive but im 99% sure that was my problem. Also found that once i used ogre trick to lock the steering shaft in place i had no more play at 3 and 6 on either side. So looks like my tie rods and rack are fine. Might just have some slop in the column but ill live with that.
