I sent mine to an individual that does complete rebuilds and has all the internal parts readily available. Amazing job on two motors I was having issues with and couldn't solve. They also came back freshly coated in black so they even looked brand new!!! I think it was $75 each. Ill see if I can find the name.

John, if that was for the Indy and a couple of your other cars, that would have been me. My labor charge was $30 per motor plus shipping and any parts needed. I've semi-retired from doing the motors, but I still do one now and then. If I'm not the one you're thinking of, doesn't bother me if you recommend someone else.

This may have been covered before but there is a rubber bumper at the top of the motor shaft that must be put back exactry into position before assembling the motor.
