I was looking for a vertical surface to mount them to but they go horizontal. There are two mounting holes on each side and I'm not sure which one to use, but I think it will be obvious when I get the nose back on. You are right, the “towing blocks” for the coupe/Formula nose mount horizontally. This thread has been a blessing in disguise. (for me at least) I did not know about the true function of the blocks. I thought they were part of the front crash absorbing system. Both my Fiero’s are lowered, necessitating a flat bed tow truck. Therefore, the blocks are coming off of both my cars!
