Yeah, it can seem a mess sometimes🤪 Just check that the heater return line goes back into the hard pipe under the rear RHS of the car. Once that is checked/OK, you can see where they've fed the heater from? The advice on the T-stats is good as well and should be followed through. However, I run a 3-core radiator, without under heating problems. In fact it's the reverse on my turbo engine: I have had too much heat energy to dissipate in the past! Well update, it was in fact the way the heater hose was ran. Aside from the miles of excess heater hose, the core was actually being fed off from a T they installed.
