Transmission Controller Questions (Page 2/2)

Reborn,
Don't want to steal or change your thread. You can PM me for more details. I've owned the car since 1998 and built it all myself. First V8, ZZ4, installed 1999.

I'm using an F40 6-spd kit. Holds up well and car stops burning rubber when I hit 3rd. It's more than enough power.

Motor has strong vacuum, great street manners, smooth idle at 925 rpm, shaved AFR 180 heads, roller cam, balanced, air conditioned, and is what I would call "Period Correct" for an '88. It's highly reliably with a custom built AED 4BBL having custom floats for a transverse motor, MSD billet distributor. In well over 2,000 miles there are ZERO issues and I can drive it anywhere with confidence. There are zero fluid leaks anywhere.
