Did you take the car out for a drive to help the ECU relearn?

Yes- took it for a drive around town- industrial roads so kept close to 30 just cruising along- seemed to run good until I drove to Castro Valley Ace hardware- started doing up-&-down idle....

What is worse tho; When I go around a curve (with noone around) I goose it a bit....lately, seemed like my inside tire was starting to loose traction- then I started to worry if that was the problem. On a straight I slowed to 2000 in 3rd, then hit it and she spun up to 4000 then slowed back down to 2500.....I believe my Clutch is dying.

I was going to send a spare Getrag back to Midwest Trans for a rebuild but could not figure out how to package it (They should take pictures of how to pack transmission) Now have to get it rebuilt (possibly local shop) and then install new clutch with it.

By the way- Which clutch do you guys recommend? I have been using the Ram heavy duty clutch- but the springs in the hub go bad quickly and of course, now my latest one is slipping.

Of course, that has nothing to do with the symptoms mentioned in your opening post.

Patrick- I know that it is not related to the original problem-o...But now I need to fix the clutch cause it is definitely on it's way out.
