I bought a Cardone rebuilt headlight assembly from Auto Zone a few years back.

Rodney Dickman advised checking the Headlight Control Module behind (actually more toward the front of the car) the driver side front wheel well liner. Evidently, they get old, solder joints fail, salt corrodes, etc.
