decided for the heck of it to just try it again and it started sounding like a John deere tractor with the straight pipe Installed for testing purposes. I did set my TV cable how it's set for fords and 700r4s which is no slack but no tension just a nice neutral position and I'll adjust from there based on what the trans likes once it gets new cooler lines since those blew. kinda figured they would since they are the only rubber on the whole car that actually had dry rotted significantly since my original rad hoses and brakes lines are fine, getting replaced soon but fine for a 20 mph test in the middle of a field

some heat cycles brought the rings around and hopefully it's not water in the oil but I got a new headgasket if it is as well as copious amounts of rtv and gasket material. high idle was a stuck cold start from everything not having moved for years and years but it ran around a parking lot with front brakes only since the rears got the proportioning valve blocking them off and a broke off bleeder screw (new better but tried anyways. Def bit me in the butt) but front are all new so its fine
does stall at random and I'm not sure what yet? was only doing it into gear but got worse and worse and did it at idle with no codes and despite my warning buddy kept adjusting timing to make it restart so it's a little unhappy with us

got some good pics I think. actually did manage to back itself out do a small driveway loop and stalled repeatedly trying to get back in go figure.
cherry bomb is very very temporary to make the testing straight pipe quiet for late night testing and will be removed within a few days once the engine runs properly...yes that's a hangman knot holding it up how else do you do something dumb in style

The cherry bomb exhaust is awesome... now it needs twin turbos, and keep that exhaust exactly as it is! Hahah...

I'm glad to see that it's running. It could be anything... honestly. When a car gets that old... I tend to want to just take everything apart and put it all back together after getting all the gunk off. It's not the best solution, and wastes a ton of time or money... but it works. Haha...

probably gonna check my fluid levels and see if maybe the trans is still low after 2 quarts but it moves and is pretty peppy, spins em off a dig and takes off to 20 pretty quick so it's running alright at least

forgot to post the new diy battery tray I cobbled together, a stronger one is in the works but that's gonna need a welder so it'll be a little bit
