This appears to be a Getrag, but I don't know what series. Doesn't look like a 282. Does anyone know which model this is?

It's a 282 alright! But, it's a quad 4 bell housing. It also has different gearing for the quad 4.

A Quad 4.
If you are looking for a 282 with the metric pattern (60* v6), they were used in many cars and an adapter would be a waste in my opinion.[This message has been edited by Xyster (edited 04-12-2014).]

That's the "internal release arm" transmission. They were built with both "Metric" and Quad 4 bellhousing patterns. Internally this is essentially the same as the Fiero 282. The only big differences are the throw out mechanism and the magnetic VSS vs. the Fiero electro-mechanical VSS.
Also note that one of the bolt bosses for the Fiero select cable bracket is not present.
