Hello,
I am searching for the part # of the egr gasket that is closest to the exhaust y-pipe on the 2.8 v6. It is the one under the block that the egr bolts to, not the one under the egr...
It's been a headache the last few hours trying to find it... Any help would be appreciated.

I can't find that felpro part anywhere. Does anyone know if it's still available?

It boggles my brain how the EGR valve gasket is widely available, but the GM and Fel-Pro ones are not. ------------------ Arthur Peale

TFS reproduced that gasket quite some time ago. I bought like 4 of them for future use. Always good to have spares once they are indeed available. Nothing worse than needing them one day and can’t get them. Stock up now…------------------ fierogt28

I'm aware of the FS replacement, my point is that of the entire assembly, there are still some of the gaskets being made, but not all. It's that which I find strange.
Unless the gaskets that are available are old stock....

As for the gaskets being made or not, I don't think it really matters.
I bought a 10 pack of NOS GM EGR gaskets years ago, and they will be good until I die.
Gaskets are being made today no question, but that's for newer gaskets. There's probably not enough demand for older design 70s-80s gaskets like there were, so they will be drying up over the years.
When I mean newer gaskets, I'm talking about newer cars.
That's why it never hurts to spend a few more bucks for spare gaskets.
If you can't spend another 10-15$ for a hobby car that you have interest in, it probably not the car for you. Even down the road if you sell the car or junk it, you can sell those gaskets probably at the same price or more because they will be even more in demand or rare.
I have NOS fiero parts here that I might never get around to use, but I know that the day I can sell them, it will not be lost, or sold at a premium. Hard to lose money on a NOS part these days.
