Anyone on here in the Buffalo, NY area?

There are at least 3 fellows on here from the Pittsburgh area.
We have a car cruise here in Wexford every Friday.. google "starlite car cruise". You should motor down for it!

We are a couple from the Buffalo area yes. Look for a topic in this forum about sightings in Western NY that's mostly where we hang out.

I'm in Fort Erie myself.

I'm in the Buffalo area. A few of us have met up already. Check out the thread about NY Fiero sightings mentioned above.

If you're looking for an event for a get-together, here's a great car show half an hour from the Peace Bridge:

I appreciate the replies and will definitely check out the mentioned threads. The reason I was asking is I was trying to get my Fiero running correctly and was hoping someone local could assist me or, and I am not wanting to do this, tell me about a good shop to take it to. Currently my car starts right up and idles great but when I go out and cruise (about 2200) rpms, the car stumbles pretty badly. I will sometimes get a code for low voltage on the throttle position sensor and have put three different ones in but still no luck. I have checked the injectors and all have the correct resistance, changed out the O2 sensor, checked the IAC valve, MAP Sensor, changed to stainless steel vacuum lines and checked for leaks, checked egr tube and valve, put in extra grounds, changed spark plugs/wires, put in a new coil, new distributor/cap/rotor, etc (a lot of this has been done while attempting to restore this car that sat for about 8 years with a blown engine which has now been re-manufactured by jasper). I am getting frustrated with it because I am trying to learn to work on cars but getting nowhere at this point. Any tips or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the area and currently located in Amherst, NY.

Oh also, it is a 2.8 V6 with a 5 speed manual Isuzu transmission that was also re-built less than 5K miles ago but about 10 years ago.

It sounds like the only thing you have not checked/changed is the fuel pump and fuel filter. I would check to see what your fuel pressure is. If a car sat that long there may be a problem with the pump or a leaky line in the tank. Did you drain and clean out all the old gas ? Just remember, just because you replaced a part with a new part doesn't mean the new part is good. Cheap parts are known for this. Does it feel like it's starving for fuel ?

I forgot to put in that post that the fuel pump was also replaced when I put in the engine along with the fuel filter twice, once when the fuel pump was replaced and again about 3 months ago. I am in the process of trying to check the fuel pressure but unfortunately the pressure check kit that I got from Harbor Freight does not have the right size fitting to go on the schrader valve. Today I will be hitting an auto parts store to see if I can find a fitting that will work.

I guess it kind of feels like it could be starving of fuel but I am unsure since I changed the spark plugs about a month ago and took it for a 10 minute drive and it no longer had any issues but then the next time I took it out, same thing happened when keeping a steady speed of about 60. I pulled the spark plugs and they look to be okay to me.
