That really looks good. I now regret that when I had my engine out all I did was clean up the existing insulation.

The bling factor is high
I am wondering, how is this stuff to wash later on when the crevices collect dirt/dust? Will a washmitt or towel get in there?

This stuff was very easy to clean... I had a torn axle CV boot that spewed grease all over my engine compartment and I was able to clean it right off easily.

That heat and sound insulation job will produce good results and is well done. At one time there was a firewall pattern available that would save the job of measuring and cutting the insulation but the guy that sold them retired and they are no longer available. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. Great timing.... I found this thread the other day and wanted to ask how it was holding up. My engine is out, my "textile" sound deadening is in piss-poor shape and I was hunting for alternatives.
I really don't mind the sound of the engine right behind me, but I am very interested in thermal management.
