Aftermarket front end sway bar links (Page 1/1) Valkyrie AUG 04, 03:56 PM It would appear that some sort of aftermarket sway bar had been installed on my 87 GT. The front sway bar links have worn out and it's creating an awful sound. Rodney Dickman was kind enough to advise me that: quote I should be able to use common heim joints and hex head bolts...swivel end links I think is the generic name for them. I've done a bit of searching but can't seem to pinpoint down a fitting replacement. I've included a couple images below, if anyone has any insight, it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm also considering just going back to the factory sway bar if there would be no noticeable difference in ride quality/performance. Bushings and mounts are bigger on the aftermarket bar.
