Hello
my rear trans bracket is cracked, so I ordered a new one from Rodney.
Looks reasonably simple, but any tips on swapping it over?

The mount is fine- just need to swap the bracket. I also have the cradle brace bracket that I may as well install at the same time, so I will probably use longer bolts

If you loosen the bolts on both tranny mounts (the mount to cradle bolts), and jack the transmission up a little bit, that will make your life easier. Make sure to use a block of wood or something, so the jack doesn't damage he transmission. You should only need to jack it up an inch or so.

Hello. I removed the brocken bracket (removed the trans mount too in order to get it out).
I re-read Blacktree's reply, and tried again by jacking up the trans carefully and it worked great. Rodney's bracket fit perfectly and is far more beefy than the flimsy OEM one.[This message has been edited by cam-a-lot (edited 08-30-2020).]
