rear brake caliper piston will not push in (Page 1/1)

I have a 86gt. had to pull of the rear brake rotor to replace lug studs. i cannot get the piston to push back in to allow the brake pads to clear the rotor. I have opened the bleeder and used a clamp, I have used a tool to rotate the piston but it wont turn freely. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the piston to push in? I closed the bleeder and pushed the brake pedal and the piston pushed out fine, it just wont go all the way in. I am at a loss, any help would be much appreciated.

Simple. Loosen the cable remove the eBrake return spring, then remove the adjustment lever nut and then the lever. Turn the piston adjustment shaft and that will withdraw the piston into the caliper.
