Changing the electrical to go from an 1986 2.5 v5 compressor to 1988 2.8L A/C (Page 1/1)

Several years ago I swapped engines, the 1986 2.5L for the 1988 2.8L. I live in Arizona where it can easily reach over 110 degrees, so I need A/C.

The 86 2.5L used the v5 compressor so I no longer have it and going to the 88 A/C compressor and also switching to r134a. The 2.5L v5 has a different electrical hookup than the 88 2.8L v6. My question is "what changes need to be done to the electrical"? I've looked at the schematics and I'm confused exactly what steps need to be done? I know the high pressure switch is wired differently, but when I get in there with a meter, nothing seems to ring out right? Also, the cycling switch on the 88 has been moved to the front Accumulator, that seems easy enough, and finally, what needs to be done to the coolant fan?

Any help would be appreciated!
