No power under load / acceleration - SOLVED!!! (Page 1/1)

SO this is a solved issue I wanted to share. My car (2.8 turbo) had NO power, when trying to drive I would have to rev the crap out of it and it would barely go, it was pathetic. Just sitting in it going no where it would rev pretty decent and it didn't really sound like anything was wrong with it, but it did not idle well at all and would die. This issue happened after I had just run the car hard trying to show off to some young kids in a Honda, what can i say, I'm a moron.
ANYWAY, next thing I know the car is LIMPING home. Finally on the recommendation of a friend I pulled codes. #32 EGR & #33 MAP sensor. EGR is deleted on my car so I start looking at the MAP sensor and see the vacuum line is nowhere to be found. I look for the missing line only to feel under the sensor and realize there is a "Tee" connection and the vacuum line goes into the manifold directly under the sensor where it can't be seen. Only thing was the vaccum line continued on and there was nothing connected to the end making me think somehow the line had gone missing when in fact it only needed to be plugged. Runs well again! Just a share for folks with a similar issue because so many fail to share their solution which is frustrating as all get out when you're trying to fix your car.
