It’s a rainy day today so we thought some more effort on the son’s Fiero was a good idea. We have a green with white stripe wire in the upper rear left side of the engine compartment looks like it has the terminal of whatever it went to still attached. I’ll try and upload a photo.

Ajar bulb wire from Dash. Other white wire is trunk light. Goes to what's left of the "jam switch" on the right that ground both to turn on.
Can find new switch to replace the broken one you have. New switch will self-adjust when first time you close the deck lid.
