I think they are the same thread but the spoiler nut has a larger built on washer. I need to find one myself but I think I`m just going to get regular nylon lock nuts and make an aluminum bar to span the two thread posts to discourage someone trying to steal the spoiler. I know a few years ago people were losing their spoilers.

You might try one of the washer nuts that hold the headlight mechanism in place. There are also similar nuts for the overflow and washer reservoirs.

I believe I got replacements for the spoiler nuts in the past from the auto parts store in the "Help!" hardware packets.
