I recently picked up my first Fiero. The car is a 1988, 2.8L, 5-speed Formula. It was sitting in a field in the desert for the past 12+ years and I'm trying to bring it back to life as a daily driver. I currently daily drive a '65 Corvair, but want something a little bit more modern. I have so far installed new tires, a new battery, new clutch master cylinder, new fuel pump, plug wires, and changed the oil.
The O2 sensor wire is broken and I am trying to figure out where in the harness that it connects to. It is broken on the harness side of the weatherproof connector but I don't see a corresponding piece of purple wire poking out of the harness anywhere. Where exactly should I be looking? Pictures would be awesome. Thanks!

2 bundles thru firewall... 1 for C500 near battery 1 for ECM to engine.
"missing" wire is in ECM side and many times just goes thru black wrap anywhere near O2. Other times is bundled w/ small part of ECM hardness. Use light and mirror to see more of the hardness w/o taking everything out.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
