Air box lid gasket (Page 1/1)

Hello! Soooo, I have an airbox lid for a 2.8L V6 where the gasket was dry rotted a bit. I may have been a bit overzealous and simply removed it, assuming I could buy a new one. Now I'm having a hell of a time finding this mysterious gasket.

If you flip over the airbox lid, and look in the groove where the lid seals to the main box, you'll see the gasket I'm talking about.

Does anyone know where I can buy one of these? Or, is there some sort of crazy spray-in solution I could use? Jam some weather stripping in there that I cut to size? Please help! :-)

This was my DIY solution:

I checked the quality of the google translation. It's sufficient to get the point across.

I just cleaned the groove real good. Took blue rtv....filled the gap and smoothed it out with my finger. Been good for 15 years now
