6 speed out of Chevy Cruuize (Page 1/1)

There is a 2011 Chevy Cruize with the 4 cyl and 6 speed (M32) that is being parted out.
1. Does the trans have the typical V6 bolt pattern?
2. Has anybody swapped the M32 in a Fiero?

I can get the trans, half shafts, spindles, clutch, T/O bearing, flywheel and whatever I need. Unknown what the owner wants for money, so kinda cautious on proceeding. Any help is much appreciated.
My 84 Muncie 4 speed just not cutting it cruising outside city limits with the 4.10 final drive behind my stock 5.0L TPI.

I can imagine.. Any other Fiero transmission would be much better. I would pick the M17.

Thanks for the replies. M17 are not easy to find anymore. Probably keep looking for MG2 or F23.

What do you dislike about the M19?
Noise?
Concerned about wear on the engine?
Drinks too much fuel?

I have M19 gearing (in an M17 case), and once I got used to 3240 RPM @ 110 km/h cruise, I found that my V6 Fiero was quite a pleasant highway cruiser. My exhaust/muffler is quiet enough.

Are you ready to accept reduced acceleration?

Anyway, I think that Danyel Potvin may have an M17 for sale. You could send him a PM. As I usually suggest with used parts, dismantle, inspect, and rebuild prior to use.

On car-part.com there are a few F23s around your area:
