Reverse cradle swap.. 85 into an 88. (Page 1/1)

I haven't been able to find info on this since nobody really has a reason to do it. I had an 88 base with an Archie SBC swap that I sold awhile back. The rear cradle and drivetrain was swapped from it into an F40 kit car. The 85 v6 and cradle were put back into the 88. The camber and tow are all jacked up. The 88 had coilovers, which were left on the car attached to the 85 suspension.
Is there an easy way to make this work without switching everything back to 88?
I have the car back and just want to get it driving again until I turn it into another project. (4.9 swap)

Should I reinstall a set of pre 88 struts? Convert those to coil overs using the parts I have?

Can't wait to see the alignment guy's face on this monster.

Thanks for any info!

The geometry on the upper strut mount is different. On the 88 from pre 88... Ie the space frame is different. You probably knew this just what i have to offer.

Other than the rear caster being different (which wasn't adjustable on any Fiero), the car should align just fine for rear toe and camber.

The alignment specs are virtually identical for 88/pre-88.

Yu shouldn't have any issues.
