Chris Moore Where Are You ? (Page 1/1)
streetrod1 DEC 22, 08:29 PM
..Super nice to be here gang THANKS.I just bought a northstar powered Fiero. 208429 is last of vin..I have reason to believe it was built by Chris Moore Engineering. The guy I got it from is super nice but he knows little about it.
I'm a retired telecommunications worker and I can't seem to get in touch with Chris Moore finding him it seems is harding than trying to save baby Yoda lol.
I would really like to know more about the car so If i want to replace some stuff I know more about what I have.
If anyone knows him please have him PM me here or - on fb messenger. Then we can exchange numbers or what not heck I would even pay him to talk to him. My name is DL Coombs. Like the rest of us I have a bad car habit I currently have two 33 Fords that are ls powered I built from scratch and just sold the quickest ride I was ever in a supercharged coyote powered 13 model Mustang Gt.
I also have my late Dad's 51 plymouth Cranbrook.
So Chris Moore hit me up Please !
I'm really liking my fiero it has a few scuffs but its a low mileage clean car. I'm a lucky man and I found my dream car. I get tired of working on stuff so getting this one was awesome. lol Heck im getting old lol..I'm gonna keep it and do it up. I have had other ones in past but it was in early 90's and never a v8 car.

Chris used to post on here, I believe, but I haven't seen him in many years.
Although it has since changed hands, again, one of his personal drivers (a Northstar Automoda) was sold to ''mrfiero" on this forum. I figure that if anyone here has contact info for him, he (mrfiero) might.

I remember Chris Moore and the beautiful Northstar Convertible that he built. His work was stellar. IIRC, he was a automotive tech that did one of the first early N* swaps. Heck, that had to be 20+ years ago when I was a young guy-LOL. Like many on this forum. 100's of Fiero hobbyists have come and gone over the years. It is likely that Chris went on to pursue different interests.

If you will do that that is so awesome..I really thank you a lot.TYSM..I have tried all I know how with no luck to contact him..it would be nice to know exactly what's been done to car because its old now..I'm wondering what brake upgrade..was it tuned ,,lil stuff..especially if something fails I know what I need to look for. There is a tiny toggle switch near cig lighter on console guy I got it from says was told it was for a hi rev tune im thinking Nah lol. I don't even know yet what trans he used.
I'm not a tech but I can hold my own.
Im hoping ebrake hooked up because a lot of grand am conversions ditched it..Its been at my home less than a day and i've been too tired to look didn't feel like uncovering street rods to put it on lift yet.
I am gonna grab a new battery today because it has died. I made my lil impromptu parts list last night. Its definitely gonna have some shifter work because the hammer shifter is hard to shift and feels like its not mounted well..Im gonna do a quarter stick and it will look like it belongs. My painter is excited he wants to do a fancy candy since we have a silver base already...who knows..I think i'm going for a real super baby light sky blue non metallic color the toyota colonial blue with some IMSA touches and as much wheel and tire as gravity will allow..be nice if he could give me the idea offset.. I have a 2nd 33 that's at painter now then once its painted and we bolt fenders on its done..so it might take me a year to get fiero done up..but I will..but so far with some regular maintenance items and a bunch of lil cosmetic stuff I think It's gonna make a nice car for keeper I think.
Yeah if you can please please reach out to him my best contact is 304 439-1683 ..Let him know I wont bother him but once and it would only take a few minutes. A lot has changed since car was done up by him and tuning technology has changed a lot. Maybe he can sell me better prom..who knows ..Here's a link from two years back you all can see some pics !
it has less than 41000 miles I gave 7500.00 for it and paid for transport..I like it because hard stuff seems done..nice having something I do not have to do from scratch..If anyone here has built a street rod you know what i'm saying.I put a pic of coupe here I built too..Just because I love it .
