How are y'all doing this?
Pics?
Looking for how the flap should be attached to the wheelwell liner, and any other pertinent information.
I'm wondering how a flat mud flap attaches to a curved wheelwell liner... Suitable raw material to start with?
Objectives:
Protect my paint from stones
Disguise the fact that my Fiero will have wide-ish tires

Just make sure the outside edge is hanging down perfectly vertical. Looks like hell when they're on an angle.

I installed mine a few years ago. With the GT rear bumper, I simply put some whiteout on top of the existing screws, while the paint was wet I pressed the mud flap against the wet paint on the screws and drilled the holes out.
The thing I always hated about the "Fiero" mudflaps is that they are too narrow for the GT wheels, and it looks kinda goofy from behind. After my LS swap is done I think I'm going to buy a set of Rally Armor mudflaps and switch to those to match the ones I have on my Subaru.
Not the most flattering pic of my car, but the perspective is decent for the outer half of the wheel... Here they are, you can see what I mean by them being too narrow. The wheel is wider than the mudflap by on both sides; defeats the purpose of what mudflaps are supposed to do!!!

Yeah, I was inquiring about homebrew mudflaps, since I'm sure that "Fiero" mudflaps aren't wide enough to cover the 255s I want in the back.
Rally Armor seems popular nowadays, but I don't want to do free advertising for them with their logos on my Fiero. They do have some black universal (trim-to-fit?) mudflaps that I may consider; the logo isn't too obnoxious.
Also, in a few years when Rally Armor falls out of fashion, I don't want my Fiero to fall out of fashion. Modifications to my car shall be timeless.
My Fiero is a bumperpad, so the bottom of the body curves inwards, which would help screw "B" to secure the mudflap, but for a wide mudflap, I'm thinking that the innermost corner of the mudflap may need some support.

Always wanted some that were molded to the shape of the fender.....but A) Noone makes them for the Fiero, and B) I can't see any way of making them (With Durability) C) Maybe finding some that just happened to fit the Fiero...by spend 30 years searching thru junk yards......

As nice as those are, I would never buy those molded ones again. Bought some for my Grand Cherokee and they rub on the painted surface and damage it. I ended up putting some 3M underneath of them, but the damage has been done (plus I am sure they will eventually rub through the 3M).

I bought a pair when the Fiero was new. Still have them on my car. I'll try to post pics tomorrow.
