3800 SC Fiero - Custom Cold Air Intake Build - Video (Page 1/1)

The good thing about Minnesota for car guys is that you get plenty of time over the winter to work on your Fiero since you likely are not driving it. Unless it is a daily driver.

I spent a few hours upgrading my 3800 SC Fiero's air intake this past week and put together a video of exactly what parts I used and how I put the intake together. I found a few ways while working on this project to hopefully allow for a few more HP at the higher RPM range for racing. Currently the car runs 11.8 at 114 in the 1/4, I am trying to find some bread crumps of HP that I overlooked in the past by slightly improving aspects of the build.

I have had a similar setup for 7+ years with ZERO issues except I do close of the side vent opening anytime I wash the car so that water being sprayed horizontally at the car does not get the air filter wet.

Take a peek.
