Whats this random pigtail for? (Page 1/1)

Hey everyone, first time posting here so hello! I have an ‘88 GT 5MT and just recently the starter went. Yesterday I got around to replacing it and I noticed this wiring harness sort of dangling. I know it’s probably a long shot, but anyone have any idea what it’s for?

Looks like the connector that goes to the a/c compressor pulley. Connector on a/c compressor is tucked away right behind the pulley.

Anything I might say is probably worth what you paid for it, so treat it accordingly!

I agree, looks like the AC compressor clutch connector.
