Looking to do the brake booster swap. In looking at boosters; there are a few options: NEW Chinese unknown brand for around $65, REBUILT from A1 Cardone (or others) around $90. new AC/Delco....hundreds.

Which way would you go? I'm leaning A1 Cardone........

Cardone is trustworthy.

The larger brake booster really improves braking action. Its a bit of fabrication if you use the Delco, or Cardone unit. You will need to thread the shaft and combine it to the right length by threading and using a long nut to connect part of the Fiero brake booster rod that you will cut away. The easy way is to use Rodney Dickmans brake booster rod end/installation kit. That will only fit on the Tuff Stuff Performance Brake Booster 2232NB. You will reuse the Fiero Brake booster bracket on the Tuff Stuff S-10 booster. The end that Rodney sells screws right on to this booster Tuff Stuff is made by Hurst in Cleveland OH. All their parts are USA made and of high quality. If you do not wish to go this route forum member Sardonix sells a ready made plug and play booster.
