Bad input shaft bearing after oil change (Page 1/1) Xenoblast MAR 27, 01:55 PM I seem to be posting here a lot recently. When I release my clutch while in neutral, I hear a knocking type sound, and I researched it as being a bad input shaft bearing. The thing is, this noise only started happening after I changed to synchromesh fluid, the old oil was probably just 5w-30. Is this just a coincidence? Xenoblast MAR 27, 03:31 PM Ah ok, as long as my transmission aint about blow up I can live with it. When I first changed the fluid, I honestly thought my engine started knocking... But then I stepped on the clutch. I can just tell people i have a multiplate clutch lol
