3800 NA Belt size and routing Help (Page 1/1)

My set up is a 3800NA, with the stock alternator location, no power steering, and an AC delete pully.

From browsing the forums I came up with two potential belt part #'s and two potential routing options. Both of which I've been met with no success. One is a Continental 4060850 (85 inches), and the other is Dayco 5060835 (83.50 inches).

Here are the two routing options I came across:

In the case of option B, both belts were a fair bit too small to even get on.
In option A, the Continental belt fits but rubs against itself where I drew the red X. The Dayco belt does not fit this route.

Anyone here with a matching set up who could tell me what belt they used? Really don't want to just blindly buy belts till I find it.

If you use the Power Steering delete pulley, then you would just use the stock belt

Whoever did mine (98 SII NA) did it the same way but I'm going with a low mount alt soon so I can replace my notched and now warped decklid. My setup used an ac delete pulley, no power steering, and a flat idler pulley that should be swapped for a ribbed one.

Let me zoom in and see if I can get the belt number. If these don't get you there I can get better pictures when I get home.
