Anyone ever just replaced the felt on the window felt guides? (Page 1/1)

If so.. What type of felt did you use and what did you use to adhere it to the original felt guide brackets/guides after you removed the worn felt?

Thanks ahead of time!

The Fiero Store sells new felt lined window guides and they are not pricey BUT getting them replaced in the door is a really big chore. It looks like the window must come out and the door disassembled. Some owners have made cuts to get them out. If there is an easy way I'd like to know.

Im wondering if the window can be pulled and the felt replaced while they are in the door. I guess I just need to get in there and see if I can just get to them.
