Can anyone post a pic of the V6 alternator adjustment bolt with the tooth washer off the bracket please?

Thanks,

Picture of the entire alternator mounting assy:

It doesn't use a toothed washer the bolt flange is toothed.

Yup, worse that bolt is rarely used anywhere else.
Large alt pivot bolt is found nowhere else.

I have (had?) a spare but can't find it now.

might use a bolt w/ large captive tooth washer but also hard to find spares of these for bigger sizes.

If that adjustment bolt and bracket is original and was hardly touched they can be very difficult to turn. The brackets can also get very brittle. If you are replacing the belt and adjusting the tension you may have to apply penetrant to the bolts and wait a day for it to work. If the bracket breaks (common) the Fiero Store sells them.

Yeah. The cross reference doesn't show much either. Items like this are better found on yard cars. Best bet would be anything up to about the mid 90's using a similar alternator. I have found bolts that are close (flanged) at Ace Hardware in the nuthouse or at Champion Bolt.

While most now have serpent belts...
Many GM alt's use same 2 bolts for them.

Even tho alt doesn't move to tighten, many to most mounts are Aluminum and need small bolt to spread loads.
Big pivot bolt maybe shorter w/ some like CS130D w/ no external fan.

Try GM trucks, many have CS130 or CS144 (or their equivalent) often still mount w/ same 2 bolts.

Don't know if Dorman has them.

Note: Can use anti-seize etc but make sure only on threads. Flat areas must not get lubed for either bolt or will move and loose belt tension for all using "sliding alt" to tension the belt(s).
