| Arm smells like exhaust after driving (Page 1/1) |

Hey guys,
I took a quick 2 mile drive this morning and I noticed again that my left arm smells like exhaust or my right arm doesn’t really. My left arm is at the top of the steering wheel my right arm is on the shifter. My Fiero is an 86 and had a rebuilt engine that the guy seemed like he did a really good job on. The exhaust headers are painted in a must be some kind of ceramic coating or powder coated or something because it’s not rusting. I did have the windows halfway down so I’m gonna do another test later after I take a shower and have the windows up and see if it changes anything. Any idea on what I should do to try to narrow it down? Thanks

I dunno... maybe try driving with your right arm out the window.

Haven’t really had it happen since then, today I feel like overall I smelled like a little bit of exhaust. I think it’s just when I leave my windows down and the cyclone around my car is blasting exhaust back into it at a stop light. I don’t know
