1988 Drivers headlight wont come up unless I give the knob a bit of a twist. (Page 1/1)

Both of these things have been rebuilt. The drivers side sometimes...most of the time... Wont pop up unless I pop the hood and give the knob a twist. Seems like it is closing in a bind.

Once I give it a twist the knob spins to life and opens the headlight. Sometimes it will let me close it and open it again. Sometimes it seems like it binds shut again and then it wont come up unless I spin the knob again. Any Ideas with this?

Thanks in advance.

"Binding" would seem to indicate that the rebuild may be defective.
