This subject has probably been to death, but can't find any info using the search. I need some 62D pallex to recover the drivers seat. Anyone have some or know where to find it? Thanks.

I just did a quick search for Pallex cloth as you indicated. Got a couple returns? I would say check out "Fabric Supply Inc." for your needs.

SMS Auto Fabrics apparently does have the OEM Pallex seat fabrics.
You will have to phone to get sample swatches:

Been down this road before. The Pallex they sell isn't the OEM. The grain is a a 45 degree offset compared to original (diamond vs square), and no you can't just rotate it. As to the color match it is close. If you end up buying and doing this, please post updates.

The seat actually does not need complete recovering. The outside panel next to the driver's door is very thin, has a couple pinholes and the piping is cracking, the rest of the seat looks OK. If someone here has an old seat with 62D pallex and is willing to part with a piece of it or even the whole seat cover, I would be monetarily grateful.

These guys have bought up lots of old inventory from places around the country and have an extensive stock of these cloths like pallex. I bought from them for my Sunbirds and had all new interiors done for my convertibles 84 and 86. If you contact them with year and model and trim code they will send you samples to compare

If you ought the fabric from SMS, what are your thoughts?

SMS sent me a sample, color is a little off, might be due to fading of the original cloth. Pattern not an exact match. I am going to keep trying to find a piece of original cloth.
