car starts right up but idles too" low" like 6-700 rpm any ideas on why ?? if I throttle it up to say 900 runs fine and volts are at 14, idling at 6-7 it's only 12 volts ! never did this before

Remove and clean your IAC valve. The Idle-Air-Control is on the throttle body. Clean the pintel and the seat the sits on as well.

It was New when I put it in( Less than 10 miles), but it's been sitting a loong time. I'll pull it and take a look. thanks

Even if the IAC is new, the passages in the throttle body should be cleaned.
