So I just bought an 88 Fiero formula and it gets delivered on Monday. It has been sitting for a very long time. It cranks but does not turn over. I know the basics like checking fuel and fuel delivery, electrical, and spark but are there any common things to go on the 88's that might help me quickly identify why the car wont turn over. It is my time here and I cannot wait to get my Fiero. Thank you!

My 87 GT was the same way. I checked everything, and replaced all the easy parts like the ICM, ignition coil, and injectors. Turns out it was just the ecm, despite the injectors still getting a signal. You should post any known history on the car or ask the owner what happened before it didnt start. an easy tip aswell, if the tachometer stays at 0 when cranking, replace the ICM.

Hello Neighbor!

Good luck getting it running! Would love to see more Northeast cars!
