Engine vent seal (Page 1/1)
Wichita AUG 16, 12:21 AM
As I begin to refurbish everything on my Fiero, I'm about to start on the engine vents.

I noticed that the rubber seals on them are torn up. They are riveted on, which is not a biggy to drill out. But I cannot find any thread, nor replacement seals for them anywhere. I'm actually somewhat surprised. Unless I'm not using the correct terminology on the search here on PFF, but the Fiero Store doesn't seem to have them.

Can anyone help guide me in the right direction?

Many thanks,

Do you mean the 2 deck lid vents except the 84 that had 1 in the middle and 2 non-vented covers for the sides?

Yes. The two deck lid vents.

You may have to fabricate something. Try a Home Depot or similar place and walk thru the doors & windows section. Ask a willing subject to show you the rubber seals for weather proofing. Take the vent along and tell them what you're trying to accomplish. Don't forget the rivets.
