Hey guys I'm new here and had a question about kit cars. I've seen a bunch of countach replicas going for sale on places like ebay and it gave me an idea. I want to either buy one or get a fiero and turn it into a replica countach and put offroad wheels and tires on it so I can get it dirty. I think it would be funny. Does anyone know where to buy a fiberglass body or body parts for the project? I know some people have to stretch the frame, but are there any that don't require that? I've seen the prova kit, but I was trying to find something cheap since I'm not too worried about it looking as nice as possible. Any info would be helpful!

Go over to Lamboclone to ask if anyone is selling a body. You can find them cheap occasionally. The non- extended version is less common.
If you plan on just creating a junk looking car, then it shouldn't cost you too much. If you actually want a decent looking and functional vehicle when it's done, then be prepared for a long, expensive road ahead.

I have seen a 308 raised as an offroader only a few months ago here.

Unless you have loads of time on your hands, I would advise not going with a Fiero kit car body. Typically 100's of hours of labor are needed to fit, assemble and finish a complete kit car . Often these projects go abandoned but you may find one like this already in process. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. "THE COLUSSUS" 87GT - ALL OUT 3.4L Turbocharged engine, Garrett Hybrid Turbo, MSD ign., modified TH125H " ON THE LOOSE WITHOUT THE JUICE "
