I'm considering a 3800 swap in the future, and an wondering how everyone handles their ECM wiring with regards to the firewall. Do you splice the 3800 ECM wiring into the Fiero wires for the pass through, then change plugs/wires out on the engine side, or do you remove all that and just use a single harness passing through from the engine to the computer?

You're going to use the engine harness from the donor car. Also, there are connectors on the Fiero harness that you are going to remove and have integrated into the donor-car harness. Some wires from the newly-made harness will pass through the firewall and connect to the Fiero. The PCM will come from the donor car also and will replace the Fiero's PCM which is found in the console.
