ORPHANED CONNECTORS, STILL... (Page 1/1)

OK... I had written an earlier post on where my incoming air sensor connector might be. The male connector is on the air cleaner housing shown below, but I have nothing left on the connectors for which I can find matching connectors which matches the connector on the air cleaner housing, shown below. My only options are the last three photos listed below and they don't match the connector on the air cleaner housing.

As I said, I have three other connectors, pictured below, for which I cannot find matching connectors. My Fiero is a 1988 GT with an automatic. I am just wondering if these were in the harness and not used with my model or whether I need to find where they go, or if one of them is somehow my incoming air connection

On the third connector pictured below, the round, capped connector, the ground (green wire) never had a connector on it, so maybe it was not used. But the first photo and the second photo look like they should be used for sure.

Any help on reconnecting these would be appreciated. I probably should have marked all the connectors, but when I was pulling the wiring harness off, I noticed that each of the connectors in different areas and for the most part were different than those around them, so I thought it would be intuitively obvious where they went. I guess my intuition isn't that good.

IAT sensor, A/C Compressor clutch coil, A/C compressor switches, and last one looks like oxygen sensor?

You are most likely correct. I removed the AC compressor with no intent of reinstalling it, but it's been so long since I did this, I didn't even think about that. DOH!!!! I get a fail mark on this one.

I cannot find a connector anywhere that mates up with the IAT sensor as shown in the first picture. I assume it is in the harness somewhere, but I don't see it. I hope that somehow it didn't get wrapped up in the new heat shield tape. I will have to check in the area where I think it should come out and see if I can figure it out.

Since I don't have the exhaust system installed yet, I would assume that maybe the new sensor I bought will have a connector that matches or one that I will need to splice in place of the old one. It came from France, so who knows.

Thanks a million for your help. One of these days, I hope to have this thing back on the road.

Just replaced all motor mounts too. This was the one on the front of the transmission. I wonder how long it's been like this?

Later...

iAT plug should be on the pigtail with the A/C and F/P relays.
