Boost Bypass missing parts (Page 1/1)

I have a 1988 Fiero GT with a L32 3800 SC in it. Not sure what the original owner was thinking but I'm finding that it has a collection of parts that no one else would use together. While checking everything out I noticed that the vacuum pod for the boost bypass is there and hooked up to vacuum, but there is no solenoid, vacuum line off the other side of the pod, and appears that the harness doesn't even have the wiring for the solenoid. Is this going to cause a vacuum leak, or boost problems?

That is a way to hook up the boost bypass using only the vacuum signal to activate the flapper. The wiring plug, solenoid and missing vacuum line are to add PCM control of the flapper.
GM used the PCM control to enhance 'drivability' (smoothness).
It works in either configuration.

Thank you.
