I currently have a modified my tail light panel and they are painted. While redoing them for a fresh paint job i noticed that after sitting the primer has cracked. I know this is a common problem and i was wondering if there was some kind of spray like a 2k epoxy primer that might stop this from leaking into the new paint job. I really do not feel like remaking my panel
any ideas ?

If those custom tail lights were built from stock Fiero units, you should use plastic adhesion promoter before painting. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. "THE COLUSSUS" 87GT - ALL OUT 3.4L Turbocharged engine, Garrett Hybrid Turbo, MSD ign., modified TH125H " ON THE LOOSE WITHOUT THE JUICE "

Bull Dog adhesion promoter is good for what you're doing. I buy it in the jug, but I believe it comes in aerosol cans as well..

thanks for the suggestions, how ever its not the paints that cracking its the actual acrylic. Need something to stabilize the surface. Going to get my painter to put a few coats of clear and see it that will hold it [This message has been edited by nosaint (edited 10-18-2021).]

It sounds as though the paints/primers that you are using are attacking the plastic. In such a case a sealer may help but you are working with 30+ yr old plastic and the cures for aging may be few.
