turn your heater control head to MAX. If the fan comes on, then we know your fan an relay are okay.

You can also turn on your AC. The fan will come on and stop your overheating. It'll get you home.

See my Cave, Rad Fan
1. Engine running at 220°, even 230°F Is Not Over Heating. 2. Dash Gauges often Lie for many reasons. More so one cars 20 30 or more years old.
"Air locking" and "Burping" Fiero is a myth. Fiero and others will "burp" themselves when you fill the system right. See my Cave, Coolant Fill
Real "Over Heating" can be many things and rad fan (and 85-87 V6 engine blower) may never turn on. Dash Temp gauge may not get hot either. Example: F'd head gasket often will allow cylinder pressure to coolant and oil holes cause Fake "over heat" even "boiling over" and/or force oil in PCV parts.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
