Do a search on BMWguru. He put a volkswagon diesel in a fiero. I think the thread is in the construction zone.

Since it is not a daily driver, what benefits do you see in a Diesel engine swap for a Fiero? You want mileage the Duke with the 5 speed will give you close to 50 hwy mpg. You want power, the 3800SC, LS4, 3.4TDC. 3.4 P/R and other engines are available where the footprint has already been established. ------------------
