Back to my 3.4 DOHC Fiero - engine running rough (Page 1/1)

I haven't been driving my Fiero for a couple of years but I'm ready to retire so I brought it out of storage and had it back on the road today.
It's not running well. It didn't really run very well when it went into storage. I'm looking for suggestions to investigate my engine problems.
It's a 96 3.4 DOHC crate engine with '91 OBD1 ECM and a 5-speed in an 88 GT. I rewired everything according to the circuit diagrams.
On starting it dies unless I keep the revs up to about 2k, then slowly bring it back to 1k. After that it will idle at 800-1000 without seeking.
If I stop at a light it's likely to stall. I need to work on my heal-and-toe.
On the road the engine runs rough. Not very rough, but not smoothly either. Just enough to know that something's not right. At least it accelerates well once it hits 3k.

I'll appreciate any suggestions.

Two years of storage is enough to cause problems with the fuel system. I would add injector cleaner to the fuel, or even get a professional 'sea foam' treatment.

Thanks for the suggestion. Injector cleaner goes in today.
