Handling on the highway (Page 1/1)

I have an 88 GT and driving around town is fine. If I drive up on the highway and have to make a quick steering manuver the car gets really dartty and almost feels like the whole car is pivoting. It's almost the same sensation as driving a rear wheel steer forktruck fast and trying to avoid something. Is this normal midengine handling or suspension issues?

Bad alignment or One or likely more of suspension bushing and/or BJ's have problems.
Because Driving on highway puts bigger loads on everything and just one iffy/bad part can easily show up that way.

Check tire inflation and wheel bearings too.

Because you have an '88, have a look at the suggestions to check for in This recent thread.
