Round speaker fitment for dash adapters (Page 1/1)

I have the blank adapter plates for mounting round speakers in the dash. I seem to recall mention some speakers hit stuff under the dash. Of course, I would like the most speaker, and good with mounting a tweeter there too. What has been used that worked ? Thanks for the guidence.
It's a 3-d printed adapter for a round speaker in the 4 x 10 cutout. From looking at it, i think you could get a tweeter mounted, too.

My understanding is that you have to slightly enlarge the dash hole for the speaker to fit and the only hangup is the driver side AC ductwork. This is a picture from Fierosound who had to remove a corner of the ductwork so the speaker magnet could fit. Some say melt it with a heat gun, others cut it out and glue a piece of plastic to cover the hole.
